  • Backup, disaster recovery, network resiliency and business continuity plans were implemented to significantly reduce or eliminate downtime.  Since this time, any major utility interruption or infrastructure failure has resulted in a maximum 15 minutes outage on a 24/7 basis.
  • Developed and enforced an acceptable use policy and led a team to create and deliver a company-wide security awareness training program, consisting of a classroom style presentation, regular employee phishing simulations. This resulted in the prevention of over 300 phishing attempts and 30 ransomware infections over a 14 month period, effectively protecting business assets and reputation. This endeavor enabled Lanlogic to provide this service to other clients, further solidifying our position as a trusted advisor, while adding significant revenue to our overall bottom line.

  • IT infrastructure budget analysis and planning.  Five-year cost savings of over $750k were realized within two years via well planned upgrades, migration and consolidation of legacy onsite server infrastructure including a hybrid of virtual and physical servers (running Hyper-V and VMWare), enterprise storage (EMC, NetApp, eXeBlock), complex enterprise switches, and Sonicwall and Cisco UTMs, VoIP and telephony, and other critical systems  – all within very short downtime allowances.

  • Assisted in fostering a streamlined support process with the use of ticketing systems, SLAs, and regular customer feedback, and documentation, achieving a consistent end-user satisfaction rating of over 98%.
  • IT infrastructure budget cost savings of over $75k were realized within two years via well planned upgrades, migration and consolidation of legacy onsite server infrastructure including a hybrid of virtual and physical servers (running Hyper-V and VMWare), EMC, SANs, Cisco SG-500 series switches, and Sonicwall and Cisco UTMs – all within very short downtime allowances.
  • Successfully designed and managed a large multi-site redundant telecom consolidation and upgrade project by introducing a converged MPLS fiber rollout, vLANs, VoIP (Allworx),  and Sonicwall appliances with a redundant and resilient topology.  This effort saved another ~$150k over a 5-year period while also ensuring 99.97% uptime.
  • Backup, disaster recovery, network resiliency and (most importantly) business continuity plans were implemented to significantly reduce or eliminate downtime.  Since this time, any major utility interruption or infrastructure failure has resulted in a maximum 30 minutes outage on a 24/7 basis.
