- Ensure all welding defects have been repaired before third party inspections
- Check amps/volts during welding activities and record all readings
- Arrange all Non destructive evaluation activities as required and ensure that Non destructive evaluation request register has been completed with all the required information. E.g. KKS Number, Welder Stamp Number, Description of Weld, Drawing Number, Acceptance Criteria, Inspection Test Plan Number, Weld Process, Unit Number and Weld Number
- Ensure that all documents get given to document controller or filed in the work packs after completion of client inspections (Request For Inspections)
- Complete second line inspection with the Supervisor and record defects on the punch list
- After all defects have been repaired, book inspection with the client with the following paper work-Request For Inspections, Non destructive evaluation Report, Drawing and punch list
- Compile of weld maps, data books or supply Document Controller with all relevant documentation to compile data books
- Ensure that the correct welding consumables have been used as per Welding Procedure Specification and specification
- Do Site inspections when required and complete inspection report
- Complete second line inspection with supervisors and record defects on a punch list
- Arrange final inspection with third party after all defects have been repaired
- Complete all inspection reports during inspections
- Ensure welding control sheet have been filled in during welding
- Ensure that the workforce/projects are working in accordance with EN3834 requirements
- Ensure that all Non-Conformities get recorded and corrective and preventive actions have been completed and implemented
- Ensure that all measuring equipment has been calibrated
- Verification on Hot Boxes to be conducted every year
- Reasonable care of consumables and equipment issued
