Employment history
Pharmacy Technician, Champlin, Sawayn and Torphy. Wizastad, Kansas
Jan. 2020 – Present
As a Pharmacy Technician, I work with Pharmacists to help prepare and give out prescription medications. I take prescription refills over the phone and in person, work with help professionals and customers, mix and measure liquid medications, count, label and give instructions for medications, and process payments. I also ensure that insurance for each patient goes through correctly, and if there is a problem, I call the insurance company to try and get the issue resolved in a timely manner. Checking and restocking medication is also a part of my daily duties. Keeping the work area neat and clean is another task I pride myself on doing each day. Prior to September of 2018, I also handled the payroll for the employees and was responsible for mailing bills and sending statements to customers. In September of 2018 our store was sold and the new owners now handle the bills, a third party company handles our payroll, but I still ensure that statements are sent out and collected appropriately. The most important part of my job is treating each patient with the care and respect they deserve.
Childcare Provider, Hodkiewicz LLC. Sherillfort, South Carolina
Oct. 2009 – Jun. 2010
I worked at Little Friends Daycare during my senior year of high school. As a childcare provider, my responsibilities would vary from each age group that I worked with. For the smaller children I would care for them by feeding and changing diapers when necessary. When working with the older children I would ensure that any homework that needed to be done was completed once they arrived off the bus. Providing snacks and educational activities were also part of my daily duties while working with all age groups.
Cashier, Jakubowski, Gaylord and O'Connell. Yundttown, Connecticut
Feb. 2009 – Jun. 2009
My job duties as a cashier were to take and fill orders, manage transactions, clean and restock the front end and dining area, and prepare the work area for the following shifts. Working as a cashier greatly improved by communication skills and allowed me to work with the public first hand in a fast-paced environment. Carter's is a popular family owned restaurant in Blackshear that often stays very busy from open to close. Being able to multitask was a huge part of this job.
