My duties as the vet assistant are to pull up appropriate vaccinations for the patient and hold the patient during the appointment, assisting the doctor. I also hold off veins for the doctor to pull blood from. I know how to run heartworm snap test, FeLV/FIV snap test, fecal samples, and some blood work on IDEXX machines (CBC/SMAC, TT4, SDMA). In addition, my duties included attending to the kennels: walking, feeding, and medicating the animals that are there for daycare or boarding at the facility.
My duties as the office manager at the clinic are to create and review charts throughout the day to ensure the clinic's procedures and standards are followed and then filing them into their correct location.  I schedule appointments for the doctor and set up boarding reservations. Additional responsibilities include taking phone calls from suppliers as well as clients, fulfilling their needs and issues. Also, I review our prices and inventory in the system ensuring all is correct. In addition, I invoice all appointments after they are concluded, patients that daycare for the day, and boarders that are going home. Lastly, I fill and create RX labels for prescriptions that are needed. 

My duties for this position included watching dogs that are outside for play care and making sure there is no rough play happening and that they always had water.  I would bathe, clip nails, clean ears, and drain anal glands. Lastly, we would feed patients, tidy up their kennels, and clean and disinfect their kennels after they leave. 

Duties included good customer service,  working drive-thru and front counter, handling cash, cleaning facilities, and training incoming employees.
