  •  The Project was on calibration of wearable gadget used in Rehabilitation Centers that helps patients to make their daily exercises easy and interesting. 
  • The gadget makes use of a BOSCH module which is having an accelerometer, a magnetometer and a gyroscope, all three on a single chip set, which is used to track and synchronize hand movements with the virtual hand on the screen. The magnetometer and the accelerometer are used to calculate quaternion / Euler angles which are used in calculation of calibration matrix. 
  • Firstly, literature survey was done by studying research papers, application notes provided by various companies like NXP, STM etc to figure out the mathematical background and algorithms required to achieve the task. Survey of existing sensor fusion libraries was carried out to find industry standard open source libraries.I was able to resolve errors and concluded that by using Sensor Fusion Toolbox of NXP can be used to calculate tilt compensated values
  • Have developed a PIC base Micro controller for a level detection sensor which is being used in the Nuclear Plants at IGCAR
