Employment history

Produce Clerk, Rolfson Inc. North Candace, New Mexico
May. 2017 – Present
At Publix I am required to keep the produce department maintained throughout my entire shift. At publix all shelves must be filled especially if the shelf is empty and we have the product in our backroom or cooler (no excuses). We make sure all customers are attended to, and our produce tables and shelves our full and handstacked.

In the mornings when I open the department,I first check for expired dates and rotten produce. Then I prepare our stores “Wet-Wall”; it holds all of our fresh produce including: organic and nun-organic greens, lettuces, herbs ad many more. After that I’ll set up our produce tables while handstacking them and facing the shelves. Next I am required to unload and breakdown our departments daily truck using a pallet jack. Then finally I work the product from the truck and go home with a job well done.

When I work the night shift I am to first come in and block the department and handstack produce tables. Then I am to work out all remaining product that is left in our backroom and cooler form the morning. Once that is done I am to grade the department by checking for all expired and rotten produce, while pulling the product from our “Wet-Wall”, and storing them where they belong in the cooler. The once again I go home with a job well done.

When new employees come in, I am to train them on how the department operates, and I am to teach food safety.

Kitchen Leader, Schinner, Heathcote and Torphy. Lake Rodrigostad, Nevada
Jul. 2013 – Aug. 2013
My job was to cook and prepare all food for the store. The job required me to be able to cut and cook all chicken, slice and sqeeze all lemons for the store’s famous lemonade ( while also making the lemonade), make tea, slice and cook other brownies and other deserts, makes salads and many more. I was also required to do the store dishes, and clean our floors every night. I even had to unload truck and any other deliveries the store might receive. This all had to be done by myself everyday, unless i had help from one of my trainees.

Since I was the the kitchen leader, I was also required to train all new employees who were going to be working at the Dougherty and Lee County locations. I was to teach food safety, how to cut and clean chicken, how to rotate and store our food, and all the requirements for the job including unloading the truck. It was a lot, but I got all of it done everyday without complaining.
