Employment history

Pharmacy Technician, Champlin, Sawayn and Torphy. Wizastad, Kansas
Jan. 2020 – Present
As a Pharmacy Technician, I work with Pharmacists to help prepare and give out prescription medications. I take prescription refills over the phone and in person, work with help professionals and customers, mix  and measure liquid medications, count, label and give instructions for medications, and process payments. I also ensure that insurance for each patient goes through correctly, and if there is a problem, I call the insurance company to try and get the issue resolved in a timely manner. Checking and restocking medication is also a part of my daily duties. Keeping the work area neat and clean is another task I pride myself on doing each day. Prior to September of 2018, I also handled the payroll for the employees and was responsible for mailing bills and sending statements to customers. In September of 2018 our store was sold and the new owners now handle the bills, a third party company handles our payroll, but I still ensure that statements are sent out and collected appropriately. The most important part of my job is treating each patient with the care and respect they deserve.

Childcare Provider, Hodkiewicz LLC. Sherillfort, South Carolina
Oct. 2009 – Jun. 2010
I worked at Little Friends Daycare during my senior year of high school. As a childcare provider, my responsibilities would vary from each age group that I worked with. For the smaller children I would care for them by feeding and changing diapers when necessary. When working with the older children I would ensure that any homework that needed to be done was completed once they arrived off the bus. Providing snacks and educational activities were also part of my daily duties while working with all age groups.

Cashier, Jakubowski, Gaylord and O'Connell. Yundttown, Connecticut
Feb. 2009 – Jun. 2009
My job duties as a cashier were to take and fill orders, manage transactions, clean and restock the front end and dining area, and prepare the work area for the following shifts. Working as a cashier greatly improved by communication skills and allowed me to work with the public first hand in a fast-paced environment. Carter’s is a popular family owned restaurant in Blackshear that often stays very busy from open to close. Being able to multitask was a huge part of this job.

Professional Summary

Pharmacy Technician and Billing Specialist by day, skateboarder and videographer the rest of the time. Working in a pharmacy gives me a professional, people-oriented core that translates into any environment. Match that with almost 20 years of skateboarding experience and I can just as easily talk about the city’s newest skatepark to a fellow skateboarder or a city official who has never step foot on a board.

Employment history

Aug. 2004 – Present
South Emmett, Illinois
Media Production, Howell Inc

I’ve been skateboarding since 2001 have been involved in the Philadelphia skate scene for over ten years.

  • Between 2012 – 2018 I co-owned and operated Gnarhammered Skateboards. I managed the team, the media production, and the product.
    • As team manager, I worked with the riders to film and shoot photos by organizing skate trips and working with individual schedules to set up one-on-one time to skate and film/shoot.
    • My main focus on media production is filming and editing skate videos. Over the years I have put out three full length videos – “Punk Rock & Pool Block” (~18 mins), “No Fun Intended” (~40 mins), and “The Wrong Way to Trip” (~46 mins). I have set up video premieres for each one (see below) and have released many other shorter web edits throughout the years. I also worked with photographers to shoot photos and artists to design graphics and logos for products, as well as ran the Instagram account.
    • As product manager, I would gather artwork and design skateboards and various clothing. I managed the bank account, made all of the purchases, ran the online shop, shipped orders, and sold product direct to shops.
    • @gnarhammered
    • www.gnarhammered.com
  • Gnarhammered as ran it’s course and all of our riders have moved on to bigger sponsors, moved away, or no longer have the time to actively skate. I will be rebranding under a new name as a video production company launching later in 2018. I will focus on filming and editing videos ranging from instagram clips, to short/medium length web edits, to traditional full length skate videos.
  • April 2014 to present – Primary fundraiser and account manager at FDR Skatepark. I started the official FDR Skatepark GoFundMe account on April 22nd 2014. I work with the construction managers at the park to see what projects we need money for and relay that information through social media to raise money. I provide the funds raised to the builders when it’s time for them to buy materials.
