Professional Summary
I have been grooming for a long time, had had the fortune to learn from many different experiences.
I also have kept up to date on latest tecnniques by attending every trade show and seminar that i could. there were many. i went to top groomer shops and spent time learning. On line is also a phenominal learning tool. Learn to Groom Dogs is the best. $$$$ Well worth the money.
I am very dedicated to the profession and it is important to me to work for people i respect.
I try my hardest to please the customer.
Please note, I have not groomed since July 2018 when i broke my ankle very badly. (my dog mowed me down). It was very bad.
I had been working at Sakonnet Grooming at that time, and she had hired someone else.
I have been grooming small dogs in my house.
I have also done many other things along the way. I worked at West Marine for almost 7 years. I am now currently working at a mens clothing store. I miss grooming and really want to get back into it.
I truly feel I am qulified. Even though I have not groomed in a while, I have no qualms that I can jump right in with no problem.

Sep. 2015 – Aug. 2016
I ended up quitting there, so probably best not to contact them. They do not have a good thing to say about anyone anyway. I quit because there was alot of drama. They were terrific groomers. Everyone has their own style and technique, and they had theirs, which they did not budge on. I really liked the 3 girls i was working with, then they hired this young girl who had never groomed before, really had no interest in it, and never shut up talking about herself. She was a friend of theirs. Also, I lost one of my dogs, took 2 weeks off, was very depressed….one of the girls had a dog with the same name…..I was too upset. NO ONE EVEN called me , nothing. These are dog people, and my friends. Then, they put me on the schedule again without even checking with me! Not even a phone call, a text…”why are you not here” well duh, I did not know I was supposed to be there. I just said I was not coming back. Had just had it with all the crap that went on there.

The absolute best groomer I ever worked for. I was very involved in Agility and Schutzhund at the time, and ended up leaving . I was also working at another salon at the time, one of them had to go. I went with the other one because i made more money and it was close to where i lived. Probably best not to call her either. She was not happy.
