• Coordinate the Human Rights Office
• Develop and implement Office work plan
• Supervise and appraise  a team of Human Rights Officers
• Monitor and report on human rights situation in the area of responsibilities including in the context of elections
• Work collaboratively with various stakeholders including government institutions and NGOs 
• Work collaboratively with other mission components in ensuring the mission Protection of civilians  mandate
•  perfume any other duty as required as Human Rights Officer
