Professional Summary
During my high school education, I was a dedicated employee to Little Explorers Daycare in Tisdale. Currently, I am attending the University of Regina in hopes of completing my second year of elementary education and am in search of a part time job for the school year. I spent my time away from work during high school volunteering with two programs: CHUMs and with an elderly woman named Ellen. CHUMs was a mentoring program for elementary aged children that was much like big brother/ big sister. I assisted Ellen with her daily tasks, both in and out of the home, and provided her with the emotional support she was in need of. Here in Regina I have also committed to Special Ed. bowling where I will spend my Saturdays for the remainder of this school semester.
I am very organized, have great time management skills, and am able to communicate effectively both with my peers, and with children and their parents. I also adapt well to change. I have worked in childcare for a few years and I am confident that my experiences make me a suitable candidate for this position.
Thank you for your consideration of my application.
