Professional Summary

Music has always played a huge part in my life. I have always had an undying passion for any type of music ranging from Rap, Hip-Hop, Country, Soul, Jazz, Classical, and Rock and Roll. I tried my hand at guitar, piano, and drums but was never very successful at any of them. Singing will always be my strongest instrument and I practice at least once a day. I memorize song lyrics, research thier meanings, and know most of the back stories and current events surrounding current artists. I am extrememly interested in the music and the artists themselves. I have an ear for talent and a passion for music. I truly believe life would be meaningless without music. I want to explore and gain experience in the music world and hopefully have a successful career in it one day.

Professional Summary

I would describe myself as a hard worker, respectful, and aware. I am a hard worker as that is what I strive to do at every task. Yet it might sound cliche, it is true. I maintain a 4.0 gpa at school while balancing that with school sports, church volunteering, and work. In my past jobs and volunteer work, I worked to produce the best outcomes and not rush through things. Being Korean, I have learned a lot from my culture on the importance of respect. I even lived in South Korea for 2 years where I always respected my elders. I am also aware. This isn’t a specific skill as it can apply everywhere. I am not oblivious or naive. I can sense when a customer is under stress or something is going wrong. I am also aware of my duty as a worker and what values and responsibilities I hold when being hired. I enjoy working. It occupies me with something that I don’t hate despite many people hating their job. Having a job does more than giving me a source of income. It gives me a place to meet and serve others, increase my social skills, learn how to be more responsible, and bond with a group. Lastly, as you read this, it might come to your attention that I may not fit the job 100%. That is totally understandable but I also believe that I am adaptable and can learn tasks quickly. Being the first child I have always taken the first step in everything. I have explored many new fields which some have now become my favorite things to do. So I won’t wither away if the job is too strenuous but be happy and confident when hopefully hired. (I don’t want to sound stuck-up at all in this summary, just want to tell my strengths)

Employment history

Jun. 2017 – Jul. 2017
Lake Jamila, South Dakota
Coach, Hermiston, Bartoletti and Nader

I served as a coach/counselor at Legarza Basketball Camp. I lead a group of 15 kids ranging from kindergarten to 8th grade every week. I enhanced their basketball skills, bonded with each one of them, and made sure they were all having fun. Legarza Basketball Camp not only focused on basketball development but also building your character. Every day I strived to make each one of my campers become more responsible, outgoing, respectful, kind, and confident. The main goal was to create a critical week in every camper so that it may positively affect them for the rest of their lives. Every coach also worked to leave a good impression on the parents by personally talking to them every day. Every camp week ended with the coaches writing letters and reports for each of their campers reflecting on the superb week they all had. The work shift was 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday.

Dec. 2016 – Feb. 2017
New Barton, West Virginia
Tutor, Ziemann-Kshlerin

I worked with students ranging from 6th grade to 8th grade on math as well as history. I focused on the tutoring lessons to not fall closely to a classroom environment but instead a hang out place at the library where I got to become friends with each student on top of tutoring them. I worked on the lessons that all my students were currently taking by reteaching the concepts, introducing tricks that I used when I took the specific class, and boosting their confidence. This job took quite a bit of time out of my day but I was happy to help other students by boosting their grade and making sure they didn’t have to stress out about school

Professional Summary

I am an international student from Venezuela. I’ve traveled since I was 6 years old around the world and this allowed me to see the world, compare my culture with others, and learn a lot from different people. I really love the experience to learn and work with different kinds of people. I feel that those qualities with my creativity and dedication are tools that would make a difference for my present and future. I would like to work in the marketing department in your company: creating advertising plans proposals using traditional and new media, working in the public relations, and learn more about the marketing campaigns are some of the zones that I would like to cover. However, I want to learn as much as I can and I will be happy in work in different positions, as well.
