Set up and operate various 3-5 axis manual and CNC mills including; Mori Vertical/Horizontal with Fanuc control 3 & 4 axis, Haas VF7 & VF4s with trunion installation, a Doosan VC630 5-axis with Fanuc, and a DMG MORI DMU85 monoBlock with Heidenhain control.
Program using G and M codes.
Design, create, and modify custom tooling.
Produce high quality, tight tolerance parts, inspect product to drawing specs, recognize machining issues and make mechanical or offsetting adjustments.
Inspect, deburr and clean at the machine during cycles.
Troubleshoot and creatively resolve unique machining challenges.
Follow all safety policies and procedures; maintain a safe clean work area in accordance with 5S ethic.

Program Set up and operate CNC lathes.
Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures.
Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, locations of cutting tools, and dimensions and tolerances of blueprints.
Evaluate machining procedures and recommend changes or modifications for improved efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts to determine machining operation to be performed, and plan best sequence of operations
Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces
Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machine tools including computer numerically controlled (CNC) tools to perform precision, non-repetitive machining operations such as sawing, turning, milling, boring, planing, drilling, precision grinding and other operations
Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools
Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
