- Assist physicians with care and treatment of orthopedic patients prescribed a DME product
- Assists physicians in selection of DME products for patients based on current orthopedic complaints
- Properly fits and applies braces, crutches, and other orthopedic soft goods
- Completes measurements and fittings of custom DME products
- Assists in obtaining pre-certification and authorization of products
- Provide patient education on custom and universal DME products
- Provide education for staff on current and new DME products utilizing hands on training

- Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, treat patients through rehabilitation exercises, gait and balance training and performance of physical activity.
- Instruct and educate patients on therapeutic regimens and on methods to maintain health and wellness.

- Initiate and conduct emergency action plans

- Serve as a liaison between Varsity and the host site staff, mediate conflicts between coaches, staff, and host site personnel

- Perform and provide care to athletes in the high school setting.
- Perform baseline concussion testing of high school athletes. Check vital signs, obtain medical history information, and answer initial inquiries.
- Help educate families about conditions, and general health issues in adolescent athletes.
- Provide Certified Athletic Trainer services to the men’s football teams, lacrosse, soccer and track and field.
