I was hired by this individual to shovel their driveway all throughout the winter, this consisted of 6 am shoveling in -15° weather or worse, sometimes the snow would be over a foot deep, or solidified into amazingly heavy ice. sometimes each job could take up to 2 hours.
this all shows that I am a hard worker, and I can do manual labor in extreme conditions.

Glenna hired me to watch her two children in the summer of last year.
I have been watching them for several hours at a time, displaying a level of responsibility. I also cook for them regularly, making either a creative snack or a delicious dinner. I help them regulate their behavior and make sure they are happy and having fun, including taking them outside or making fun games inside when the weather is bad.

Under my supervision, I formed and maintained an organized and structured environment suitable for a child. I provided care to the needs of children which entails: preparing and giving meals, help with homework, bathing and dressing, discipline when necessary, emotional support, and most importantly, providing a safe environment for the children.   

Cared for the needs of seniors on a day to day basis in all areas of support, which includes: hygiene, reminders to administer medicine, offering emotional support, scheduling and offering to commute with patient to said appointments, and organization

Our family farms have been present through my whole life. Being raised in this industry, I have gained huge amounts of experience in the rural side of work by volunteering around the farm where ever possible. Skills gained from being a farm hand include:
– learning to use the machinery around the farm including tractors, trucks and work vehicles.
– working long hours in order to retrieve the best outcome in the quality of the farm.
– using teamwork with family and others to finish jobs including sheep-work (shearing, marking and selling), repair jobs (fixing machinery and other imperfections around the farm) and crop-work (planting crops, watering paddocks and harvesting the crop).
– using smaller vehicles including quadbikes and motorbikes to travel around the farm when moving sheep or checking the progress of crops.
– understanding the changing market for crop and sheep sales.
– cooperating with others to achieve the best outcome in the farm.

Coleambally Central School offers students to gain knowledge of the work field by offering work experience in Year 10. For this, I worked in a day care facility in which I gained the following skills:
– maintaining a safe environment for the children.
– observing and monitoring children’s activities.
– interacting with the children and staff in a positive way.
– forming a bond with the children in able to create trust and safety in the work area.
– understanding how to handle a situation with patience and persistence.
– becoming enthused in order to achieve a task or interact with the children positively.
– using encouragement and teamwork to influence the children on their outlook of daily activities.
– communicating certain wants and needs of a child to the staff.
– communicating with children’s parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviours and related issues.
– assisting in preparing food and serving meals and refreshments to children.
– reading to children and teaching them to paint, draw and use other handicrafts.
– organising and storing toys and materials to ensure order in activities.
– organising and participating in recreational activities in and outside of the building.

Supervised and cared for a neighbours’ children while she had work commitments. Actions taken and experience gained from this job included:
