Professional Summary

Born in the early 90’s, I started watching animation films with my brother. The kind of films that always stood out to me were comedies and suspense thrillers. I used to watch a lot of these films over and over, as they really inspired my life throughout my life.

I graduated from Suzhou  University in China with a major in New Media Design where I got to do some stop-motion for my Animation Production class. This inspired me to really step into the world of storytelling and animation. I went back to watch The Lion King, Tom and Jerry and the Woody Woodpecker cartoons, which had shaped my childhood. When I got a chance to come to America, I decided to pursue these same interests with a goal to be able to tell Oriental stories with the quality of animation done in the US. I also have a passion for camera shooting, composition, and acting. All these pointed towards storyboarding for me, as I believe it is very important to be able to describe the shots on paper before starting the actual production.
